This is a photo of a postcard with a personal note written on it. Panorama of Conconully from Silver Hill looking to Mineral Hill to the northwest. On the far left is the Conconully school built in 1892 and moved in 1922. To its right, the white building with the steeple is the Methodist-Episcopal church built in 1903 with the jail the small brown building behind it. To the right of the jail is the courthouse built in 1891 and torn down in 1937. The large flat-roofed building to the right of center is the Elliot Hotel built in 1892 and burned in 1915. The large brown building left of the Elliot towards the courthouse is the Meyer's Hotel built in 1905. |
