Two copies of photo. Handwritten on back of one card is "Mrs. Baker taking in the mail. Tubby Hill in overcoat drove the stage. Johnny Owens on crutches." On the other card typed on back is "I came to Okanogan on this stage in 1910 before the building of the Railroad into the Okanogan Valley. B.E.Gregory Okanogan Washington" Signs visible read "Elgin Nelson --" and "Post Office." A large pile of mail bags are on boardwalk with a women pulling on one while the stage is parked adjacent to boardwalk. Several men and a dog are watching with two children walking towards the stage on the boardwalk. |
