View of south Okanogan and Okanogan River from east side of the river. The high bridge construction was just beginning with the caption marking place where the bridge will cross. In the middle distance beyond the west approach to the future bridge is the two-story white Alma Hotel with the rounded front. Beyond Salmon Creek in the middle distance is the adjoined two white buildings of the cannery with the two-story white Okanogan Flour Mill upstream from it. In the middle distance on the left is a white school house with a bell tower. The Okanogan Auditorium had not been constructed yet. |
