View of of Conconully from Mineral Hill looking east over Conconully Lake. The School is on the right with the church near the center and the Opera House is the large brown building on the left. To the left of Opera House is the courthouse and to the right is the Meyer's Hotel. To the right of the Meyer's, the large flat roofed building is the Elliot Hotel. The note on the back addressed to C. DeVos, Coopersville, Mich reads "Put in 1st day printing in county here on Conconully Record. F.A. DeVos. Sept 10, 1908 This is all there is of the county seat town that has a linotype machine. Conconully, WA Frank." Postmarked in Conconully in 1908 with a 1 cent stamp. |
