Description |
Twelve children on their way to school in Loomis (school house in background). Two girls are riding side saddle, one with a second girl riding behind her. Three girls are in a buggy pulled by one horse. Six children are walking. Loomis school group in 1908 (1905?) taken some distance south of the old Loomis school. From left, Elizabeth Johnson Pein who furnished the original picture. Next is Elva Garrett and Rainey. In the buggy is Belle Long, Zelma Lee and Lela Long. In front is May Dexter, Jim Dexter, Cassie Holbert, Clarence Holbert, Kitty Holbert, Bill Holbert and Lucy Dexter. |
