Palmer Mountain Tunnel and Power Company mine stamp mill with 100 stamps which never operated with view of the west end. Photo in Harry Sherling scrapbook, not elsewhere in photo collection. Harry's note with photo in scrapbook: The Palmer Mt 100 stamp ore mill, the largest in the state when completed; it never turned a wheel. One man was tarred and feathered for tell the truth that it was a fraud, 1904. |
